I unlocked my blackberry phone. i have a boost mobile phone and i want to switch my number and credits over from my boost mobile account/phone to my unlocked blackberry

Just put your boost sim card mobile phone to your blackberry phones. Normally if your already unlocked your blackberry using blackberry bold 9700 unlock code, your phone can accept any of sim card from different network provider. As long as you have correct blackberry unlock code it should be no problem. Make sure your sim card have same network frequency with your blackberry suport frequency specification. Don't put cdma on gsm and vice versa, it will not work.

I have unlocked my blackberry cell phone by purchasing an unlock code. i purchased a boost mobile phone and time and now i'd like to transfer my boost mobile phone number and all of the info. in the...

If you are trying to use your Blackberry 9700 Bold on Boost Mobile then it may not work, as the phone may not support the technology with which Boost Mobile runs on. You would only be able to use Blackberry 9700 Bold on GSM carriers once unlocked.

Trying to convert,if possible, nextel blackberry 8530i to boostmobile

watch this video

Boost Mobile has the cheapest (and slowest) data service around, and the Nextel Branded BlackBerry is the only smart phone that works with Boost's iDEN service.

The old 7520 and 7100i BlackBerry's can be purchased for around 50 dollars, and are very usable smart phones.

The newer BlackBerry 8350i is one of the best blackberry smartphones available. However on Nextel it costs more then 120 dollars a month for unlimited everything and on Boost mobile you can get unlimited service for $50 a month.

The difference however is that Boost mobile does not offer a Blackberry Data Plan and Nextel does. So if you want to browse the web, send emails, and be able to download apps, you have to convert your Nextel Blackberry to Boost Mobile.

The email works a little differently in that you can set up your yahoo or aol mail to forward to your Blackberry by using the email address

[email protected] as the forward to email address.

What are the differences of the Nextel Blackberry models?

Besides the obvious difference which is the design of the phone and the applications and memory available, the 8350i runs BlackBerry OS version 4.6 whereas the 7520 and 7100i run version 4.1. The older OS does not support as many apps and features.

To sum it up Boost Mobile Phones aren't good and Blackberry's are. It's really that simple.

Does Boost support the BlackBerry?

Not officially. Boost sells their Starter kit to "give new life to a previously used Boost or Nextel phone", but they make no specific mention of its compatibility with the BlackBerry. Using a BlackBerry on Boost is consistent with their terms and conditions, but you won't get any help from Boost for configuring your BlackBerry.

Which features work?

Voice service and basic data service work.

3rd-party apps work, including apps for web browsing, email, GPS, and instant messaging.

Over-the-air installation of apps using the BlackBerry Browser will work if youfollow the how-to.

Text messaging will work if you follow the how-to.

Apps can also be installed using the Desktop Manager software on your PC.

Which Boost plans included data service?

All Boost plans include basic data service

I have a BB 8350 that was flashed from Nextel to Blackberry. We switched our sims cards from my phone to my wife and its back to the Nextel settings. I was wondering do I have to get it reflashed again.

What service are you trying to use? This phone will only work on an IDEN network (nextel,Boost, etc) It can not be used with a At&t or T-mobile. Sorry if the person who "said" they flashed it didnt do it right.

I would like to unlock my blackberry 8350i so it will work with my boost

Hi,there are two ways to get the unlock code for your phone, you either call your service provider who sold the phone to you and request for the unlock code, which will be given to you for free,or you visit this website;www.unlockphone-free.com,or www.codeunlock.com.where you might be asked to pay a token to get it unlocked.

How can you use a blackberry nextel phone with your boost plan

You do not need to "unlock" that blackberry.  If you put your boost sim in it the phone calling and direct connect will work immediately.  Getting the txting and internet to work require you to install other service books.  Try this link http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1530734  which explains how to remove the old books and add the correct service book to use mms and internet.
