You say you have opened and closed the cover, your error appears to be related to the output bin assy on the left of the printer. Remove and reininstall the output bin assy.

I cant get my Dyson canister to reattach correctly.

Hi Gayla, it's Jack at Dyson.

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty replacing your DC28's clear bin and cyclone. They should lift away from the machine when you push the red release catch, and should reattach in the same way without any issues.

From what you've described it sounds as if something is out of place. You may want to remove and replace the washable HEPA post-filter as shown in the video below - if the clear post-filter cover isn't fitted correctly this could prevent the bin from sitting correctly on the vacuum. Make sure all the black rubber seals are in position, and that the bin base is closed all the way around. It's also a good idea to check the red release catch for any damage.
If you continue to have difficulties you're welcome to get in touch for some additional assistance. You can reach us by calling 1-866-693-9766 (US), or 1-877-397-6622 (CA).

How to output bin empty ?

  1. The output bin may be full. Empty the output bin. Printing resumes automatically.
  2. Take a close look at the flaps hanging out the exit of the printer. They should move up and down freely. If one of them is stuck up, broken or dislodged, then a bin full error is displayed.
  3. Open rear exit tray and power on the printer. If the printer comes to a Ready state, close rear tray and try printing.
  4. Clean the paper path below the toner area and exit assembly at the back of the printer. Ensure there is no pieces of paper stuck in the paper path of the printer.

Paper feeds about half way and then stops. All of the indicator lights come on.

If you get a paper jam, the Paper Jam indicator light promptsyou to clear the paper path. If the paper has just started to feed from thepaper feeder when the jam occurs, pull the paper straight up out of the paper feeder. Open and close the printer cover toresume printing. If the paper jam occurs inside the printer, remove the paper from the output bin. Turn the printeroff, then on. If this doesn't clear the jam, open the printer cover.Remove the print cartridge and cover it.For additional assistance, please contactLexmark Technical Support

Output bin is full in printer

In the middle of the paper path at the output bin is a plastic tab that can hang up. Push it down to see if this enables printing to resume.
That tab is connected to a lever that you can see when the top cover is open.
Good luck.

Screen comes up blank(white) when I turn it on.

It could be a faulty cable; if it is try ebay. However, it may just be that the cable has come loose off the motherboard where it plugs in at. I bought a laptop on ebay for $50 because "the screen wouldn't work" and reattached the cable and it worked beautifully.
