Y-sus or Z-sus board problems it depends on the area there in, not sure on this set, but you can google this problem and you tube shows video on how to replace.
1) Check out the on screen audio setup menu to see if the spekers are set to OFF.
2) Hook up a powered PC speakers to the Audio line output RCA jacks to see if you get the sound OK to isolate the problem to be the power amp or audio processor problems.
This tv has issues with 4 capacitors. These caps can be replaced for about $10. They are located at the top right corner of the power supply. They will read 10v,1000uF. I had the same problem, then I replaced them wit 16v,1000uF capacitors. And presto tv!
