This would be a
usb headset and there could be issues with the microphone itself on the headset, or your have it muted. Some users have this issue because there is more then one mic installed on the system, the system is confused on what mic if any your going to be using, or the headset might be muted, or the pc my be muting the headset.
You would need to check the following:
1. By you clock on your desktop there should be a speaker icon right mouse click on that.
2. Open up Record properties, make sure that the
Logitech is your default microphone and that its not muted.
3. Say the mic is not muted you want to check on the cord , there should be a hardware mute button, make sure that is not muted as well.
Last but not least if those check out then you might got yourself a hardware issue with the
Logitech headset itself.
You also might try another
usb port as well.
