I have a samsung YP-T9, but have lost the software for it. I am trying to use WM to delete the songs, but it isn't working. What else can I do for this?

I solved this problem by hooking my device up to my computer and opening Windows Media Player. On the left hand side it will show the name of your device under your playlists. I right clicked my devices name and chose to format it. That erased all of the songs as well as pictures that I had put on the device, and it only took a few seconds.

Samsung switched to the Emodio software package available here to support the T9 player in 2009. It's a free download at the middle of that page under the "Manuals and Downloads" and then "Software" tabs.

I dont know how to delete songs on my mp3 player yp-t9

Since this model mp3 does not allow you to delete the songs from the mp3 device itself, you will have to connect it to the computer,

then go to the your mp3 device storage ("my computer"-> then look for your mp3 storage device)

there, delete the songs you want using the computer.

Thanks, hope this helps! ^_^

I can'y delete the folders on my Samsung YP-T9J

On my YP-T9 I choose format and it deletes everything. Of course, I don't use it for pictures, videos, etc. You can format it either with WMP, Samsung Media Studio, or Windows Explorer. Only takes a couple minutes -- in fact, it's a lot faster than deleting the songs via WMP Sync.

If you want to get rid of everything, you can format the player. Open the Samsung Media Studio software, then click on "Menu," "Portable Device," and "Format."
