Whirlpool gas dryer "ultimate Care 2" does not dry my clothes.

My whirlpool dryer does not dry my clothes. I look at the viewing hole in the front of the dryer. I see the orange glow and ignites. I see the flame for a few seconds and turns off. The orange glow appears again but no flame. The orange glow just fades away. I do here a click just when the orange glow appears but no fire. Could it be the coils?

Yes, the gs coil is not opening. Go to www.repairclinic.com put the model number in and get the gas valve.

I have a whirlpool gold ultimate care II electric dryer and have to dry everything on high twice to get it dried. any suggestions?

first how is the clothes out of the washer? That might not be spinning fast enough in final spin. When was the last time the dryer vents was cleaned. Do you have a flow out the vent? If so then something might be going on with sensors.

Whirlpool ultimate care II dryer: dry clothes sensor

Make sure that the vents are cleaned to include outside. Where it hook on to the dryer make sure that the housing is cleaned also. That should take care of the problem. Thankyou and if you need more help let us know.

Where is the pilot light on the Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Dryer?

Hello gigiknoll
Welcome to Fixya
My name is Huum,

This model should be electronic ignition and does not use a pilot light.
The igniter may be faulty.or the gas module may be faulty.
Pilots are a thing of the past!
This requires a tech to test it with equipment.
