Digimax 350 SE driver on vista.

Your camera is so old and obsolete that there aren't any Windows 7 drivers and never will be.

All you can do is to try and run the existing drivers using the compatibility mode of Windows 7, if that fails then you must either update your camera or find a cheap old basic laptop or pc running an earlier version of Windows. Often you can get them for free on FreeCycle.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

i had these once they dont run on xp, but i would look for a driver first

There is no need to install the supplied samsung digimax cd driver for vista as the supplied cd is for 2000 and XP.
Windows Vista will automatically recognize your Samsung Digimax and has a generic driver which will deal quite adequately with all the requirements.
Just plug in your camera to the usb port of your pc. Switch on your camera and hey presto - you're good to go.

try getting the latest driver... drivers have to be signed by windows in order to be installed in vista...

THEY ARE WINDOWS PHOTO GALLERY AND GOOGLES PICASA YOU DO HAVE THE PROPER CABLE TO CONNECT YOUR CAMERA TO A USB PORT ON YOUR COMPUTER? THAT'S A MUST. OK, ABOUT THE SOFTWARE. TRY GOING ONLINE TO THE SAMSUNG SITE AND ENTER 350SE AND SEE IF THEY DON'T HAVE THE SOFTWARE YOU NEED ONLINE THAT YOU CAN DOWNLOAD. MOST CAMERA MAKERS HAVE THERE SOFTWARE ONLINE. WINDOWS XP AND VISTA HAVE QUITE A LOT OF CAMERA SOFTWARE PRE INSTALLED. YOU MIGHT TRY SHUTTING DOWN YOUR COMPUTER, THEN CONNECTING YOUR CAMERA AND THEN BOOTING YOUR COMPUTER AGAIN AND SEE IF YOUR COMPUTER RECOGNIZES YOUR CAMERA. IT'S A CHANCE WORTH THE TIME. i do not have the software from the camera (cd) and my computer is no recognixing the camera, is there a website i can go to download this software so i can get my pics from the camera to my computer

If you are taking pictures off of a memory card, you can use a card reader and work with the pictures that way.
