I can no longer print from my Mac to my HP Photosmart C4280. This happened after changing the ink. The following occurred when I tried to troubleshoot: Network Diagnostics was able to connect to the Internet but not to the server ?HP Photosmart C4200 series._riousbprint._tcp,local.? This could be caused by problems wit the server or an internet problem between this computer and the server. What to do?

I can no longer print from my Mac to my HP Photosmart C4280. This happened after changing the ink. My HP icons are no longer in menu bar either. When I try to print the HP makes a loud noise and shoots the paper through at rocket speed with terrible print quatlity.

I know how frustrating this issue is.

I request to perform the steps provided in the following Hp web link:

If the issue persists even after performing the above steps, please try with different type of paper. If the issue persists, then it will be a hardware failure and please contact the nearest Authorized Service Provider to repair this unit.

I hope the above will resolve the issue.

Note: HP PhotoSmart C4280 all in one is not a Laser Printer but a ink jet printer. :)

I use HP Premium Photo paper, 4x6 with tab. Also, there is Photo ink cartridges available for this printer.

What you have to do is uninstall the printer, go to the HP website and download the install program and software for your printer. Install, following the directions EXACTLY , and then the printer monitoring will work. If you plug an dplay, usually installing afterwords will not work properly.
