I have head phones that work on my laptop via blue tooth and the range is like 20 feet with the head phone charge fully charged

you can sometimes set the other bluetooth devices to be discover able . If you don't the phone won't see the devices via bluetooth .

Pair Your Blackberry with a Blue-tooth Headset



Turn on Blue-tooth headset and Blackberry hand-held.

I pretty sure that the 07 didn't come equiped with blue tooth. If it did there will be a controlfor it on the left side of the stering wheel under the radio control vol, up down and mode button. If you dont have the control you don't have blue tooth.

try to remove the Jabra Blue tooth that you have under th list of your paired devices. try to turn off the phone and blue tooth then pair it again.

Well 2 things it could be:
1. your blue-tooth is not fit to your phone
2. your blue-tooth isn't installed right or the place you installed it is bad.
