Check and see if you have a bent blade. If bent replace. If the blades are not bent then you need to check the levelness of the deck. You can measure the distance from the blade to the ground on all the blades. Make sure you are on level ground. If one set of blades is higher or lower you will need to level the deck. Refer to you owners manual. If no owners manual there is probably some hangers that are threaded and has a nut on it. Loosen one to lower and tighten to raise. Only do one side.

good luck

The rear right wheel on my John Deere Z225 is scrubbing the frame.

A: Scribbling the frame:
-Possibly the bolts on the wheel are lose. And it turn warble that's why it scrub the frame.
B: Uneven cut:
-Uneven cut is not the tire or wheel. Possibly the height adjust on the cutter deck is broken or lose bolt. Or may be bend cutter blade as well.

Engine shuts down when cutting deck engaged

This is probably due to a misadjusted or faulty safety switch on the rider's seat. There is a deadman switch there that will shut down the mower if the rider gets off the seat with the blades engaged.

Why does a riding lawnmower cut unevenly

Sounds like your cutting blade is crooked, loose, or bent. Take it to your nearest small engine repair shop.

Rider not cutting evenly

It's usually a bent blade, or a bent or loose deck, or a guide wheel or roller missing. It can occasionally be even a dull blade that pushes the grass over rather than cutting it. If the other blade(s) is sharp, it will cut at the correct length and you'll see an unevenness between the two.

Park it on a flat, smooth surface. A paved driveway or sidewalk works well. Check your wheels and/or rollers on the deck. Are they all touching the ground? Are they loose and wobbling? If nothing is obvious yet, take a tape measure and check the height of the bottom edge of the deck in several spots. They should be all close to the same measurement. If it has different measurements, there is usually a slotted adjustment where you can loosen the adjuster, make the correction, and tighten it up again.

Also, did you hit anything that may have bent a blade? Are the blades in good condition? If the blade tip on one end gets bent up, it will cause a sculpting effect to the lawn surface.

I hope that all helps!

Hello I have a LR 122 rider, what causes it to cut uneven

It could be a bent housing for your shaft that goes to the blade. It also could be a bent blade or two.Park on a flat level surface and measure from the floor or ground to the tip of each end of all blades. Should be all the same.

I have a Craftsman 42" rider cuts uneven

Check your tire pressure first, uneven tore pressure will cause this problem. On the rear of cutting deck on both sides there are height adjustments, if your deck has a rear roller this also can be adjusted to compensate,If your a stout person sitting on tractor can cause unevenes.
