Playing CD-RW audio CDs on Kenwood DP-J2070

I have a Kenwood DP-J2070 100 disk CD player and have not been able to play audio CDs I have burned with my PC on to CD-RW disks. Is this a problem with the burn settings I am using or does my players possibly not read CD-RW disks at all?

Try to play a song from original cds.
maybe you brunt it in mp3 file, or its a different format. try to burn your song to cd-r.
if still, try to use nero to burner..
if it wont play your original cds and burnt cds, then the optical lens or the board is broken.
hope I helped you.

Burned cd's on computer will not play on other players

Ok, here's are the likely culprits:
  1. One possibility is that you are using rewritable CDs (CD-RW), which will not work on most players. You need CD-Rs for that.
  2. Make sure you are burning an audio disk, not a data disk.
  3. In order for a disk you made to work on another computer or another player, you need to finalize the disk. You should see that information listed in the CD burning software in the options. If you can't find that information, comment and I'll tell you how to do it for your player.
  4. If these don't work, I would see if another brand of CDs do work. Some brands (Memorex comes to mind) can be a little finicky where they work. I've had good luck with Verbatim, but there are other good brands.
Hope this help you. Good luck!

When I load a cd in my Stanton C324 it reads "No

Hello

Clean your CDs before and after playing them. Although the compact disc has a much longer lifespan than does something like a cassette tape, it can be more fragile. Scratches, dust or other damage to the data side of the CD will cause many CD players to fail to read the CD or cause the CD to skip.

Examine the type and format of the compact disc if your CD player fails to read it. Verify that your CD player can read the type of CD and the files contained on it. Just because you've burned a collection of songs to a CD, for example, doesn't mean that your CD player will be able to recognize that information. You must burn CDs in a specially formatted "Audio CD" mode to play them on a CD player, or your CD player must be able to recognize the MP3 file format. Some CD players have limitations on the type of CD they can read. Verify that your CD player can read CD-R, CD+R, CD-RW or CD+RW compact discs.

Update your CD player's driver, if your CD player is a drive connected to your computer. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel." Click on "Hardware and Sound" and select "Device Manager" under "Devices and Printers." Right-click the icon for your CD drive and select "Update driver software." This may solve any issues the drive was having with playing CDs.

Lg cd/dvd rw will not play or record. but will play mp-3

It should "play" commercially-produced audio CD disks.
With the correct software (PowerDVD, et cetera) it should "play" commercially-produced audio/video DVD disks.
It seems to be reading "data" disks (MP3 files are just "data" files), and passing them to your software (Windows Media Player, iTunes, WinAmp) for decoding and playing.

You need software (Nero, or AShampoo Burning, or ...) to be able to "burn" CD and DVD disks.

How do u hook up a USB cord into the radio and my burned cd wont play is there a way to make it work?

well you can really just hook a USB cord into any cd player it has to come with one built into it already and if its not playing your burned cds then its probly of low quality or old. or it doesnt recognize the format that you are burning the cds with especially if your using windows media player to durn the cds some cd players dont read WMA files (windows media assotiated) files

Burning movies

Yes. Many burning apps (such as Nero) support the creation of Video-CDs, and most current DVD players support playing these Video-CDs.

Cd/Rw playback CD player in lounge room won't play burned cd's...

Hi.

You need to burn your CDs in Audio format. That means that you cannot just burn your MP3 or WMA files, but you need to use the program which can convert those files to WAV format and write them so that ordinary CD players can reproduce them. Nero is such a program, among others.

Burned CD's won't play in auto CD player

I had the problem of burned CD's not playing in my car. I used a CD-R and burned it at "slow" burn rate. Now I don't have a problem with playing the cd's in my car player. Try it, it worked for me.
