Toasters like hair dryers may have a non-replaceable thermal fuse.
a new one is probably cheaper than a repair.

Question moved from Laundry Dryers to Delonghi Toaster.

The most likely cause is a broken element. Remove the case and check with a multimeter.

My toaster doesn't give enough heat to use it

follow this test with multimeter, and fix it. God bless you

the oven doesn't work at all, make sure the circuit breaker or fuse is on at the electrical panel and test the power cord.. If the oven doesn't work on its toaster and oven functions, test the main switch . As needed, check the fuse.
If the toaster function doesn't turn off unless the door is open, test the solenoid, the switch and if necessary, the thermostat .
Location of the typical toaster oven's thermal fuse.
If the toaster oven stays on when the door is opened, check the main switch . If the oven doesn't heat, test the heating elements

Out Dualit toaster keeps blowing the fuse. It's

Probably one wire Loosen up or a wire from one heating element have cut off and is contacting the metal body of the toaster. You need a good visual insect of your toaster, you may use a flush light to see inside the electriacl elents and also open the bottom base to insect the wire conections to the heating element.
I beleive one or more heating elements is the problem and you need to replace them.
Good Luck

The toaster does not heat and it's only 6 mos. old.

1. check outlet where you plug in your toaster with lamp or vacuum.
jiggle plug of lamp or vacuum while plugged in to check for bad outlet.

if lamp or vacuum do not work, check breaker panel/fuse box for tripped breaker/blown fuse.
if breaker/fuse okay, replace outlet.
if lamp or vacuum work okay, go to next step

2. plug toaster back into outlet, jiggle plug, then jiggle cord at plug, then jiggle cord at toaster.
this checks for intermittent power cord.

if cord okay, check that the toaster lever or toast basket are not blocked from going completely down.
might be a bit of bread, muffin, bagel that blocks the basket.

if all okay, you need other solutions.....

JUST BOUGHT THIS AT GARAGE SALE HOW DO YOU CLEAN THE CRUMS PROCTOR SILEX MODEL EC11/TYPE T12-2277227

I don't know about this model in particular, but every toaster I've seen has a removable bottom plate for cleaning. Have you checked the bottom to see if it can be removed?
