Well,
there are lots of different types of uninstallation and installation
processes for different types of computers.
Commonly after uninstalling, We should do this... to prepare the computer for installation.
But, this is the most common procedure which mostly is used by Symantec Agents to clean a pc system of norton before re-installing the product again.
Start>Run>%temp%> delete all the files here...
Start>Run>temp> delete all files here...
Start>Run>prefetch> delete all this here too...
sometimes in many cases, some files cant be deleted because it is at the moment being used by another process or program. So, just leave it there. its just usually 1 file or 2. so, you can delete mostly everything inside thi folders. this files are all temporary, so you shouldnt worry about saving this files...
Depending on how fast and strong your computer may be, their are unavoidable instances that the Norton Product still cant be uninstalled ... we then go to the symantec site to download the norton removal tool which works for mostly all norton products.
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe
here is also a mostly used tools for norton products...
the explaination is just beside them.
