Splitting a RCA Proscan 60 in 2

Audio circuit problem and likely parts are no longer available due to age of set----some shops may tackle this set for repair or not..........

I have a screen protector from a 1998 RCA older model big box style tv

tv worked great, turned it off one day and back on the next and the on light would not come on nor would the tv work, rear projection 52 inch rca

usuallt that model can have issues with the flyback going out without warning. Go to this link and leave them an email indicating your model number and symptom they will be able to help you out they have alot of experience with RCA products

Also, the proscan ps52652 has the ctc-169 chassis. This set is a 52" manufactured in 93.

It won't turn back on now? Any clicking, indicator lights, etc?....accordianman

I have a 60in Proscan Projection TV. My picture is out and the TV only beeps.

Have you had any luck with a repair or adjustment?

We have a Proscan 50" Projection TV. A T.V. repairman told us it was the HV (Horizontal Vertical) Splitter causing this problem and tried to find the part for us. The part for our TV was too hard to find though and we ended up not having ours fixed. Our T.V. is 8 years old though, and Proscan is discontinued. Maybe you'll have better luck finding an H.V. Splitter for your TV. Of course, you'd need a professional to install it for you. Good luck.
