How do you adjust the time? - La Crosse Radio Controlled Atomic Clock

1. Locate the clock adjustment buttons: Look for the buttons or knobs on the radio that are specifically designated for clock adjustment. They may be labeled "Clock," "Time," or have symbols indicating clock functions such as hour and minute adjustments.
2. Enter clock adjustment mode: Press and hold the clock adjustment button or buttons for a few seconds until the clock display starts blinking or enters a mode that allows you to adjust the time.
3. Set the correct time: Use the clock adjustment buttons to adjust the hour and minute values. Typically, you can increase or decrease the values by pressing the respective buttons. Some radios may use a rotating knob instead. Adjust the time until it reflects the correct current time.
4. Save the settings: Once you have set the correct time, press a button or wait for a few seconds to exit the clock adjustment mode and save the new settings. The clock display should stop blinking and show the updated time.

what engine is fitted? did you get a new timing belt adjuster. did you set it to new and not old. ecotec timing marks are on the cover and inside the cam cover. lower timing marks are on the pulley and on the crank. this should line up with the sump case marking on crank and the pin on the engine on the pulley. you need to rotoa the engine at lest 3 times to check the position of the time. also if you have had the cam sprockets off are they on the right ones as this would make timing out. both cameras are set different, there should be markings on the cmes to say inlet and exhaust. same on the cogs. when adjusting the time rotte engine by hand 3 times and if out on the timing and out of new adjust again until each time you rotate the engine it all lines up. adjustment is best done with the pull off. rota adjuster are anticlockwise to adjust dont do this clockwise, as it will move over time away from the stop pin and cause damage to the engine or timing adjuster.

Most newer vehicles do not have a timing adjustment as the computer does timing adjustment.Older vehicles do have a timing adjustment you can do.Do you have more info on the vehicle in question?

The DST is only based on GMT.

When daylight saving time (summer time) begins
The following models employ the Automatic Daylight Saving Time/Summer Time adjustment. The DST indicator in the display appears in the display at the beginning of the daylight saving time (summer time), and disappears at the end of it. Automatic DST/Summer Time adjustment is based on GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
• Summer time begins at: 1:00 AM on the final Sunday of March.
• Standard time begins at: 2:00 AM on the final Sunday of October

To cancel the Automatic DST/ Summer Time adjustment and
to set DST display manually
The Automatic DST/Summer Time adjustment can be cancelled.
Press and hold DST for more than 3 seconds while the clock is displayed.
A beep sounds, and "Aut t OFF" appears in the display to show that the Automatic DST/Summer Time adjustment is cancelled. The display returns to the clock.
Notes
• The change timing of Automatic DST/Summer Time adjustment employed by the unit (see above) is subjected to variation by circumstances and the law in each country/region. In such a case, cancel the Automatic DST/Summer Time adjustment and
set DST display manually as necessary. The customer who lives in the country/region that has not introduced the daylight saving time (summer time) must cancel Automatic DST/Summer Time adjustment before using the set.
• To activate the Automatic DST/Summer Time adjustment again, press and hold DST for more than 3 seconds. A beep sounds, and "Aut t On" appears in the display to show that the Automatic DST/
Summer Time adjustment is activated. The display returns to the clock.

The firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4 and that is the order the valves should be adjusted started with first timing mark on main pulley adjust cylinder number 1 The valves and injector should be adjusted at the same time The crankshaft is then rotated 120 degrees to next timing mark and cylinder 5 is adjusted, the crank is rotated again 120 degrees to next timing mark and cylinder 3 is adjusted.then back to the first timing mark, cylinder 6 is adjusted, etc/

Adjusting nut on plunger should be adjusted to the point where you feel the plunger just reaches the bottom.of travel/bottoms out.

To set the time, do this:

1. Press TITLE repeatedly until the time is displayed.
2. Press and hold TITLE for at least 2 seconds while the time is displayed. The time indication will blink.
3. Use the volume control to adjust the hours while the time indication is blinking.
4. When the hour has been adjusted, press MODE.
5. Turn the volume control to adjust the minutes while the time indication is blinking.

Press the MENU button to end the Manual Time Adjustment
mode.
Exiting the Manual Time Adjustment mode would start the
clock counting.


Hi this is not from the model listed. as i cant find a user manual for that model. but its worth a try :)
