The stand-by power light is blinking red. Pushing it doesn't do anything. With the back cover off, and power to the TV, the back light blinks on bright then flickers and goes dim, then goes off. 15 seconds later, it repeats this cycle. Also, the IC or the black part of the main board gets real hot in 4-5 minutes.
Pin 1 - Failcount - 0 volts
Pins 3, 5, 7, and 9 - all have 12.9 volts
Pin 11 - ground - 0 volts
Pin 2 - ANA-DIM - 2.85 volts
Pin 4 - OD_on/off - 0 volts
Pin 6 - Blu-pwm - 3.07 volts
Pin 8 - Power-On/off - 3.94 volts
Pins 10 and 11 - Ground - 0 volts

Tony, need some info for help like model number, age of set, can u unplug for 10 min. then turn back on, and since u have taken back off what have u tested or looked at?
Hello, The real problem is on your TV 'scircuit. Due to high electric power supply there might be a short circuit damage. It's better you call up your service technician and ask him to offer you a onsite support.

Can you unplug the TV for about 15 seconds, and then plug back in and watch the stand-by light. Tell me how many time the stand-by light blinks in regular intervals. If it doesn't blink at all, you need to change a fuse on the g-board. Once this is done run back through the stand-by blink light process, and more troubleshooting can be done if problem isn't already solved. If the stand-by light just keeps blinking with a count over ten just tell me, and I'll look for other possibilities.
