remove the service panel, look for a loose or leaky hose. hose is inexpensive and easy to replace. if its coming from the cylinder and is cracked or split, it will need to be replaced. many companys will give you a 1 year contract of buying there water they deliver and you get a free water cooler.

an overworked motor is normally the problem.
could also be a faulty thermostat.or even a leaky door seal.try the cheapest solution first.....

This can be caused by high humidity present inside your frig because of a leaky door gasket, which is noticable with rips, tears, and or out of alignment. If the gasket is in good condition, the problem is above the refrigerator section, the freezer. Every 6 - 8 hours the frig goes into defrost. Whatever ice has build up melt from the defrost heaters and goes into a drain. Sometimes the drain is iced up or debre builds up and the only other place the water is gonna go is= tada! the refrigerator! So the way to fix this will be to open the freezer back panel and see whats going on..

Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

If the spigot means the end of the water tube in the water dispenser, and it steadily drips even if the dispenser is not used for 10 minutes or so - replace the water valve. If the dispenser drips water mostly wright after you used it - you might have some air bubbles in the refrigerator water tubing.

1) How often the doors are opened
2) Leaky door gaskets
3) Bad ice mold thermostat
4) Light in refrigerator does not go off when doors are closed (easy to test).
