Couple of ideas.

Your weak coffee could be due to the machine not getting hot enough, which is usually caused by calcium scale buildup on the heating element (the "burner").

Try descaling with a citric-acid based cleaner, such as Dezcal or Durgol.

The second is the coffee your using is a weak blend. Try changing to a different coffee and see if the strength is better.

SOURCE: weak coffee

It sounds like you may have lost the sprayhead. It is under the brew basket (above the place where you put the basket with the filter and the coffee). Sometimes they get loose and you don't realize it and it can fall in the grounds and get tossed out after brewing.

SOURCE: Water supply for Bunn coffee maker

open the cover on the brewer- depending on your model, it could be the front or the back cover. look for a brew timer dial. turn this up slowly, running a brew each time to see if you now have a full pot

SOURCE: Bunn coffee maker leaks water

There are 3 seals in your unit that could cause your problem. there is a silicon seal right under the pour-in tray, and two on the top of the tank. one of those is for the thermostat, the other is for the sprayhead tube. any of these could leak, causing water to come out the bottom of the brewer. One other thing that can cause this is a scale buildup between the pour-in tray and the tank.

SOURCE: I have a bunn coffee maker the NHBX is the # it is

Please give Customer Service a call with the model and date code. If the machine is 3 years old or less, it will be replaced with a new machine. If it is older than 3 years, it can be exchanged for a reduced price.

SOURCE: Bunn Coffee Maker Leaks out the bottom

I have an older BUNN B10 pour-o-matic that I thought was leaking from the bottom. Upon close inspection, I found that it was leaking from the worn out washers located on the top of the tank, allowing water to run down the sides of the stainless steel tank. There's a great fix offered on Fixya.com that suggests going to a hardware store and buying a Gardner Bender GHG-1575 rubber grommet with a 3/4" hole and install it into the large hole in the basin. Then place a metal washer on top of the grommet and snug it up with the threaded fitting. Many folks say it's a great fix. I went a different route. I called BUNN customer service and spoke to a very nice woman who understood my needs and sent out a free repair kit that contained a new fitting, washer, and seal. I received it in a few days and it's working great. Beats going out and buying parts for a work around repair. BTW, the repair kit is called "Universal Retail Seal Replacement Kit #37091.0000"

I have a commerical Bunn coffee maker. I ran vinegar to clean it out. It dripped very slow. Now, I get a 6 minute pot, the coffee is 180 degrees, but the coffee is very weak! What is up?

Coffee maker is not pre-heating the water. The brew cycle should take about two minutes, and the coffee should be 200°F when it comes out, that is why it's weak. To clarify, is it a commercial model, or a home model (like the one pictured)? Home models will have a 'vacation switch' on the side of the unit that needs to be on to get the water pre-heated properly.

Coffee is really week

Check the sprayhead, make sure all holes are clear, then check the grind on the coffee it might be too coarse, and also check the amount of coffee being used, you need about 2 to 2.5 ozs.

I work for BUNN. It sounds like your sprayhead is missing because it should definitely be spraying versus flowing. We will send you out a free sprayhead - please call our customer service department at 1800 - 352-2866 with your model and will send it right out to you.

The little sprinkler in the grounds basket fell off and you probably accidentally threw it out. It splits the hot water stream into three streams. I just emailed bunn and they sent me one for free.

When we make a pot of coffee, the water goes through to quickly and the coffee looks like weak tea, how can we fix this, we only got the coffee maker about a month ago

This is usually caused by a missing sprayhead above your filter basket. take out the filter basket, and see if there is a sprayhead up there, or if there is just a little round pipe that the prayhead screws on to. If it is missing, you can contact your local Bunn dealer, or phone bunn directly, and they will take care of you. You can get a list of repair centers in your area at www.bunn.com
