Setting timezones on Netvanta 3200 router

Check your settings to see if they are set to allow manual setting. May be set to network time and date. Also check your timezones.

Are you asking how to fix your computer if it keeps changing timezones and/or requires changing timezones in order to function correctly?

Setting the timezone on your mac or windows pc may be slightly different. If you are a mac, simply click on the cogs/Settings icon on your doc (line of icons at the bottom or side of your screen), or go to applications, and choose the "settings" or "system preferences" icon." If you are on a windows computer, usually you click the start button on the bottom left side > applications > "system preferences" or "settings" or similar label.
Once in the system preferences, click on the "time and Date" icon, and usually your computer updates to the right time and date automatically if it is connected to the internet. If not, you can do it manually.

Hello there,
You go to the Settings on your phone, and then on Date and Time, there is an option for the Timezones or Clocks which should show up on the screen. You just need to deselect the other one.

can you not reset it, there should be a small hole at the back of the router
just push the point of a pen in the hole and that should reset it..

It sounds like you need to "crossover" the connection.

Using a crossover patch cable to connect the two devices is the first thing that comes to mind. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethernet_crossover_cable)

However, some routers/switches have physical buttons on ports to cross them over or you can use their web-based management to change port settings.

The switch between the NAT routers and the Netvanta had some faulty ports ... the physical connection was broken. Once the switch was replaced, the internet connection was restored.

You posted this in January, which is not during daylight savings time. The SMT setting doesn't turn on automatic DST switching for a particular timezone; rather, it is a manual override to adjust timezones to DST when it is actually active. There is no automatic DST adjustment for this watch (according to their FAQ). Turn SMT to OF for all timezones during winter months, and ON for applicable timezones during SuMmer Time (SMT).
