The touch screen of my mp4 wont work. I think I changed something on the Calibration settings, but now I can't even get back into that option as the touchscreen is not working now. :(

Select the Accessibility button ?
Option (1) Touch Panel Adjustment - Touch the four "+" buttons ? Press Start ? Close

Go into "settings", then "touch screen" options and recalibrate.

If the calibration is too far off, you may be able to "walk" it back by touching a point between the crosshairs and where you estimate the phone *thinks* you're touching.

Repeat several times and eventually you should be able to press directly on the crosshairs. You may want to consider using a thin (yet blunt) stylus to press perform the screen calibration for the last time to be sure you're right on the mark.

Based on the information you've provided, it seems that the touch screen panel is not aligned. You can try Calibrating the touch screen to resolve the issue.
Calibration option is in the Main Settings 1 Menu of the Camera. Calibration option enables you to perform calibration when the touch panel buttons do not react at the appropriate points where you touch. You can use the paint pen, touch the X mark displayed on the screen. The X mark moves on the screen. Once the calibration option is finished successfully, the touch screen should work.
The Calibration option can be done only if the Menu is accessible.
You can also perform a power reset before performing the Calibration.

Performing a manual power reset

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.
This should resolve the issue.

The problem you have on your Handycam is the flex cable FP-835.
You have to open the camera and change the cable.
It´s very easy to change.

all yo have to do is take a niddle or something skinny and push it in the side hold the hold is hard to see but it will master reset

The touch screen wont register if the unit has been reset and sometimes when it updates. Use the side buttons to control the cursor. Click the menu button, and then use the down arrow key to slect settings.click settings with the ok button. use the down arrow button to scroll down to display. click ok. The display screen will come up. Use the down arrow key to go to touch screen calibration. Use the ok button to select this option and follow the instructions. You will have to use the stylus to tap three calibration points on the touch screen and it should work fine from there.
