Have a look at this site:http://www.bikeforums.net/archive/index.php/t-15120.html and this site might help http://www.bikewebsite.com/suspension.htm You will have to either search for the manufacturers site and look for the adjustment info there( you should be able to download the manual for the forks ) or mention the specifics here so we can find them. According to my info your bike should have a Suntour SF-M3010db fork on it.

How do I adjust the front shocks on my Genesis 29 mountain bike?

Sometimes there are adjustable knobs you can turn on the top of each Stanchion, one for left side of the fork and one for right, righty tighty, lefty loosey. otherwise it's just a fixed fork. You can service the fork by unbolting the innards at the bottom of each side with a hex key/allen key, but i'd look up on fork suspension maintenence before you do that...

Front suspension

Not all front suspension forks are adjustable, but if yours is, you should find adjusting nuts on the shocks. Check with the manufacturer if in doubt.

My bicycle has a suspension problem......... my front suspension fork is so hard...... it works very often............ please help

I hate to tell you this, but the forks on the bike you have do not have any adjustment available. Forks with Adjustments and the ability to disassemble to be able to "tune" the ride start in around $250- for the fork. As you ride, the mechanism inside your fork should break-in and give you more shock absorbtion and become easier to engage.

Other than replacement, there is no direct solution for your fork.

Can i stiffen up the tension in my front forks on my mgx dxr?

Sorry to inform you, but there is no adjustments available for the forks that come with your bike. Adjustable forks (just the fork) start in around $250-.

On the positive side since there is not adjustment capability the fork does not need regular servicing like the adjustable forks.

Fort Adjustment

Hi there,
Check the top of one of the forks, there may be a knob type dial that you can turn clock-wise or anti-clock-wise, turning it one way will give you a stiffer ride, turning it the other will give you a softer ride. Some forks don't have this pre-load adjustment however.
Cheers.

Front suspension to soft on mongoose xr-75 mountain bike

The front forks aren't adjustable, as you probably figured out. You can, however, get harder springs if the springs can be accessed at the top of the fork tube. If not, do what I did on my mountain bike. I bought a better pair of adjustable forks that I found on eBay. It will take a bit of investigation on your part regarding the dimensions of the forks, so you get the correct length and width where the forks fit onto the frame (and the overall desired fork length), but you'll be a lot happier with adjustables.
