the oil /fuel mix ratio is 50:1 with a fuel octane rating of 91 ( do not use e-mix fuels ) recommended oil from the manufacturer specifications is a synthetic 2 stroke oil

If it is 2 stroke, take petrol /fuel and mix it with preferably synthetic2 stroke oil.
Ratio is usually 10L petrol mixed with 200 ml or 2 stroke oil, that is the best result, used it on my chainsaw, strimmer, moped, working for years without a glitch.
Hi Chris the usual mix for any trimmer is 40 parts petrol to 1 part two stroke oil. Each tank of fuel I do usually gets a dribble to make it look slightly pinkish. Not to dark though or it smokes terribly.
