How do I hook up to a Roku Smart TV good with a Samsung BD jm63 Blu-ray

buy Roku3, and it works, why??
because old TV or old blu-ray players have bad apps.(too old)
them top makers flat do not upgrade the smart apps in them
and now fail.
2nd reasons and related is the apps use old protocols that are now banned, ask the top 3 this and they tell you, this.
Netflix,HuLu and VUDU, I actually got warnings from them.
even on my 1 year old Sony and 1 year old Panasonic Blu-ray players, and all 3 , my LG TV when asked directly said no more updates, sorry...l
that is why GET Roku and win works
ROKU3+ does all that , keeps the APP fresh.

that and using WIFI are the 2 reasons to fail
used wired, Ethernet, , Ruku3 wired is best. to the router.

or join the Samsung forum, as there, or call them and demand updates.

It usually involves knowing what the TV's code is for programming the remote (all TVs have a code). Try google.

Get a HD to component (3 RCA plugs) cable.

Your TV is probably older and has Component, Composite and DVI connectors. HDMI is a newer connector that integrates sound. If your RPTV does not have HDMI but DOES have DVI, you can get an HDMI to DVI adapter on eBay or a computer store pretty cheap. You will need another way to get the sound from the Blu-Ray player, either external speakers connected to the player, or stereo RCA cables from the player to the TV (there will be a set of RCA audio plugs with the TV's DVI port).

ok I don't know what details you need I received a code to enter I was told to enter it at roku.com/link when I went to the link I couldn't find where to enter the code

Use an HDMI cable and be sure to select the input it is connected to (on the TV).

Clean the lens with a blu-ray or dvd cleaner. Make sure you get the kind with liquid.

Put the blu ray player into the tv to see if you get a picture,if you do put it back into the amp then assign the hdmi input you have used in the amps set up menu,if you did not get a picture when hooked up to the tv run a cable from the video [yellow] out put to the video in put on the tv and then set the out put of the blu ray player.
