It winds down and goes away when the door is open, but is triggered when the door is shut or if the switch at the bottom of the cabinet is depressed by the door. Could it be the motor cond or compressor?
Was there ever a definitive answer to this? I have the same beverage center. That noise happened first around July 2019, maybe once in 2020. And now just happened again. I open door/close it and it stops. Installed new in January 2019. Any advice?
It’s likely caused by a fan. Air circulation fans usually only run when the door is closed or the door switch is depressed. The fan blade could be hitting some built up ice or maybe it needs replacing.

Put a screwdriver on the compressor with the handle on your ear and listen. If you hear the loud grumbling noise from the compressor you're probably better off replacing the fridge.
Do the same with the fan motor. If it's the fan motor, you can easily replace that.

Freezer section evaporator fan motor bearing are going out. This would be indicted by a high pitched squealing noise. Have the fan motor replaced and it should solve your problem.
SOURCE: loud noise from the freezer side
The problem is a buildup of ice on the plastic housing (the curved plastic bit) in the back of the freezer under the fixed shelf where the icetub goes. The fan behind this plastic housing is hitting the ice when the defrost comes on.
Unplug the fridge, unpack the freezer, remove the four screws in the back, take off the sheetmetal backing and let the fridge thaw. You can remove the plastic piece after a while and get the ice off (be careful not to remove the styrofoam insulation by going too quickly).
Reassemble and you're back in business, for a few months. I'm never buying Samsung again myself.

If this is a high pitched sound, then this sounds like you have bearings that are starting to go out. There is not much that you can do to prevent eventual failure.
The only other option that I see is that there is something causing friction inside the pump between the impeller and diffuser.

Keeps on beeping? Every 3 to 4 seconds? Try putting the thermostat wires together. An open bin thermostat will cause this problem and the board see it and starts beeping.
