Unless you have changed it, the wireless password is usually on a sticker on the router. Along with the name of your network.
On your phone, search for your wifi network, click connect, and put in the password exactly as on the router.

Hi Chris,

A few questions for you first.

1) Why would you need your ADSL (connection) password to connect your phone to the Wireless? They should be different.
2) Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)?
3) What equipment do you have. The usual set-up is an ADSL Wireless Router (all in one), or an ADSL Modem attached to a Wireless router. Anyway, let me know how yours is set-up.

You can usually change your account details from your ISP web site, there is usually a customer portal for this. Did you set up any account security questions? If so, this should let you change your password. Without this I think you will need to call your ISP to discuss further.

Anyway, feel free to respond and I'l assist if I can...

SOURCE: Attempting to connect new AT&T Tilt phone to router causes internet crash

Well... That's an interesting problem.

Try changing the wireless channel that your router is running on via the web interface in the router. See what happens when you try to connect the "Tilt" then.

If that doesn't work, then find out if the Tilt is running on 802.11b or 802.11g. Disconnect all wireless devices from the router and change the router's Wireless standard to either B or G ONLY. (Whichever the phone is.) Connect the Tilt again without any other devices connected to the router. See if it reboots again.

Those are basics for now. I've never tried connecting a phone to a router like that before. Otherwise I would definitely contact your provider and ask them about it. Given that the WRT54G is the most common consumer-level NAT router on the market, they are sure to be having issues with it where other customers are concerned.

Unless another wireless device you have is causing the issue. But that is what you are trying to pinpoint with the above procedures.

Give it a go and see what happens.

My old zte after I factory reset it it wont let me connect to a network

Here are 4 solutions for your reference.
1. Restart your ZTE and reconnect Wi-fi on it
2. Forget the Wi-fi you are connecting
It is probable that there are something wrong with the Wi-fi which your phone is currently connected to. For example, the password of the network is changed but you are still using the old one. In this case, you can wipe the Wi-fi on your phone and then re-add it manually. The details are as below:
3. Check out the router
As we mentioned above, router plays an important role in mobile phone Wi-fi connection. So it is essential for you to check the running status of the router. If you have no idea whether it works well or not, you can try to restart the router or even reset your router to fix the issue. After that, you can reconnect your device to Wi-fi to see you can hook up to Wi-fi this time.
4. Reset Network Settings on ZTE
Another possibility of Wi-fi connection failure might be Wi-fi caches. It seems that Wi-fi does not create any caches on the device but this thought is wrong. Wi-fi networks produce cached data as well, especially when you connect a bunch of wireless networks on your phone. Hence, you are advised to reset the network settings on your phone to clear these caches.

I forgot my router password so i want to know what can i do to reset it

You will have to reset the router to factory defaults
BEWARE - this means you will lose all the router settings and will have to set them up again including the ADSL settings which your internet provider should be able to help you with. Then when you setup wi fi security all the computers will need the encryption key and sddi broadcast name changed to match

To reset to default settings, turn off the device first. Hold the Reset button and then turn on the device; wait for 5-8 seconds and then release the button. Reset device's configuration to factory default.
http://setuprouter.com/router/trendchip/hg520/manual-1089.pdf
(the default username/password is admin/admin)
you will need a direct connection ethernet cable between a computer and the router as the wi fi will be not set up after the reset.

How do I connect my Samsung Galaxy to BT broadband?

Are you trying to connect via wi-fi or via bluetooth? Typical hotspots are wi-fi, and that can be as easy as turning on wi-fi (in Settings, Wi-fi - see manual or quick setup brochure) then waiting for it to find an active hotspot and plugging in any necessary password. Bluetooth is much less common. Post more info and I'll try to help more.

Check to see if you can plug the wan port to your adsl modem and then plug your pc to the router. on ADSL, some ISPs will record your mac address to avoid sharing. Just see I your router supports cloning your mac. All you do is login to your router from your pc, and it should be under your Wan settings. Use DHCP unless specified otherwise, and ensure to enter any pptp login info if your ISP provided any.
