Turning set screw doesn't help. pressure builds and then it hits the red and blows off the pressure.
Optimum pressure is 1.3-1.4 bar f you have the model Livia with the gauge. It is a problem with the switch that turns on the heaters. It is called a pressure stat switch and it sometimes gets salt/calcium deposit on it that prevents it from cutting of the electricity to the heater.Dangerous as if the vent gets blocked it can explode.Change or clean the switch in vinegar to remove salt/calcium deposits.
Testimonial: "actually Pasquini has a rewire kit for older Livia 90's that is supposed to fix this issue."

This is a simple fix. This has been fixed on newer units with a rewire kit. This rewire kit is for Pasquini Livia 90’s with serial numbers PRIOR to #49000. We have them listed on our website Part# 90000 for $30.00.
You can contact me for this part - If you are local we could install it for you. If you do not fix this problem soon, you will need a new pressure release valve. It would also be advised you get a microswitch #7633905 for $13 at same time as the rewire kit. If you still require a manual we could provide you with a digital version.

Hi
Check the wire on the water reservoir to make sure that it is properly connected.
Check to make sure the wire connection is clean and making good contact.
If the machine turns on the connection is dirty, so you will need to remove nut and clean.
There is a level probe on top of the boiler (actually 2) The right one (yellow wire) is the low level probe and it will not let the boiler turn on unless it sences water at the probe. If it is scaled it can't tell if there is water in the boiler and the element will not heat. Remove and clean the probe.

Hi
If they are blinking slowly check this. Check the wire on the water reservoir to make sure that it is connected. You can try grounding this wire and see if the machine responds.
Water level may be low in the reservoir. Are you using distilled water or reverse osmosis water. Don’t. The computer can’t tell if have water in the reservoir, because it need’s minerals to conduct the small current for the computer. If they are blinking fast you may need a new computer.
