Spartan brand curved glass shower door installation info needed.

Spartan brand curved glass shower unit we have had for 10 + years. We just replaced the sliding curved door (I planned ahead and bought a spare one at time of installation ) but the new clips don't run well in the tracks. Anyone have the ''how to'' for proper installation? We just guessed how to do it as the instructions are long gone... I didn't plan that well enough! The door will almost close (1 inch short) and will almost open (about 2 inches off). The company is no longer around. It has a white base, with frosted glass, one fixed side and one sliding side. The sliding section is on a ''track'' attached top and bottom by small black clips that each have a roller wheel.

Curved cut glass will not always be the exact dimensions though they may look identical there should be several set screws on both the door glass frame and the shower glass frame that can be loosened and reset to make the door fit and close and open more properly without seeing the showwer itself i can not tell you exactly where they are but they should be either visible or behind a facade piece of metal frame

Testimonial: "Thanks. I will try tinkering with it a bit more and see if that works better. :-)"

Spray furniture Polish on the glass and rub it in until it's gone!! It has kept our shower doors clean, and water marks and soap build up free for over 3 months..... I Will probably reapply it,next time I clean the bathroom. Oh, I do clean our bathrooms every 10 days or so, but did not need to reapply polish! From Pati

Adjust frameless glass shower door hinge

The wall was not perfectly plumb before the fixed glass was attached. The top needs to be shimmed out 3/16 and resealed against the wall. On the other hand 3/16 is not much of an error. Maybe no one else will notice it.

I just installed the valve new. I have a shoewe head and a hand held that feed from the unit. It was intended to 1) serve the shower heas alone, 2) serve the hand held unit alone, 3) put water to both...

Assuming that your two heads are fed from the typical curved wall mounted shower pipe, what you need is a diverter valve. Removed both heads till it's down to just that curved pipe. Get a diverter valve from a plumbing supply store. Tell the sales folks that you want to install a diverter valve so that in one position, the hand held receives water and in the other, it cuts the hand held and puts it to the reg. shower head instead. They should give you a "T" sort of fitting. The female threads of this screws into that curved shower pipe. Then you will find two male thread ends. These connect to both your shower heads. Finally there will be a push/pull knob that is operated to control which head gets the water.

We installed a Grohe Relaxa Plus 10 years ago.

Likely a blockage in the line. Corrosion or other damaged parts. Try cleaning the filter screen first. Check for normal water flow without the shower unit attached to the spout. If OK, then the unit is the issue.
