Contact the manufacturer. Most retail stores will not have manuals, so the best way to go is to contact them directly so that they can get it for you (and, a lot of times, they can get it for you for FREE!!).
Their contact number should be stamped somewhere on the machine (usually on the bottom--might be stamped directly into the plastic, so make sure you have it in really good light when trying to read).
Good luck! :)

Quick Prep fell and popped into two pieces. I have the key match for the two haves but am unable to get the slots from the mixer end to slide into then male ends on the base end. Is there a way to...

There are two phillip head screws holding the blender end together where it came apart. They are hidden under plugs on either side of the imprinted information. Simply drill a hole in each plug and remove them by putting something in the hole (small screwdriver) and pulling them out. Loosen the screws, enough to pull the body apart far enough to insert the blender end back in. Make sure you line up the drive pieces and the logo goes on the side with the switch.Tighten the screws back up and your good to go. I left the plugs out, they don,t serve any purpose.

I have this model and a vita prep 3. Both turn off when tasked with heavy blending. Is there anyway to increase their blending torque capacity? They used to be much better. They are not old machines.

The motors even if they not old blenders if they have work with too much load for along time then they have been overheated and thus they will trip overheat safety more sensitive. So now actualy you have less blending torque as you have describe. So now their is much posibilty if you continue to work it the same way you will finally burn the motor rotor so the damage will be grait.
So now not only you can not get more torque but you should try to avoid very heavy use in order to have them work for a longer time.
When you use with a lot of ice cubes try to cover them with a lot of liquids and always use the pulse mode to start ant the continues rotation.
Good luck

Cuisinart Quick Prep is not working properly

I think the ice was too hard for a hand blender. I think the impact has caused the blade to separate from the shaft or caused the shaft to separate internally. If your blender is still under warranty you might be able to get it fixed. Note: none of the "Smoothy" recipes in the manual call for ice. One uses ice-cream. One uses "partially thawed frozen strawberries" and one uses sherbet.

Need instructions on how to use.

Go to GE website or any brand and look for user manuals. They have recipes and instructions. And it's all free information! Try these:

http://www.gehousewares.com/products/840079000_1068232922783.pdf

http://www.gehousewares.com/Product_Search.aspx then select FOOD PREP, then BLENDER, then SEARCH and there will be about 10 user manuals you can browse for instructions and recipes. Instructions for blenders are pretty much the same. Don't put too much in the jar, no more than 3/4 full - I keep mine to 1/2 full. DOn't make recipe too thick or you will stress the motor - add water, milk or other liquid. Don't do ice cubes unless your machine is made for ice crushing. Good luck!
