Nintendo DS Lite Touch Screen Fades

I have a Nintendo DS Lite that was purchased new a year ago. After approximately 10 minutes of playing the touch screen fades. The game works fine, the stylus works fine, but the touch screen has no image. The problem gat worse with the Brain Age 2 game. Previously, the touch screen had a thin line from left to right with different colors.

You're going to have to send it in for repair. It sounds like it's out of warranty, which is unfortunate.

I bought a nintendo ds lite a month ago and the last week or so, the touch screen has become really shaky. Can I get it repaired or is it something that can't be fixed?

Hi did you buy it new or second hand?

If you bought it new I would bring it back to the shop you purchased it in as it would be under guarantee and they should replace it or repair it for you at no cost to yourself.

If its second hand some of the phone repair shops also do computer and console repairs its worth checking out.

The bottom touch screen doesnt respond to touch on my ds lite also the screen freezes every time i play it can this be fixed without buying a new screen?

Unfortunately you need a new touch screen.The good news is you can buy only touch screen without bottom display.Look this resellers.

You are going to have to open the DS Lite, take out the old touch screen, put in the new one, and put the DS Lite back together.

Yes the touch screen can be replaced, you can buy a new one on ebay for $10.00 you will also need a triwing screwdriver, also on ebay. you can try nintendo to see if it's under warranty.

ebay has a nintendo ds lite repaire service for $40.00
