Nokia6120c keypad 100% not working after a routine battery charge

The only way to light up the screen is via the power on-off button at the top of the unit.
This problem occurred suddenly after charging the battery and at 1st seemed that I merely couldn't unlock the phone. Re-booting (removing battery then replacing) didn't work.

RING 2 DOORBELL - OFFLINE

Hard wiring simply provides a trickle charge to the battery. If the battery is depleted, you may have to take it out and recharge it independently, then put it in. A trickle charge is not a fast way to charge a battery and if the battery is low, there may be insufficent power to operate the Ring 2. It has to have the battery for it to work any significant length of time. The hardwire alone is insufficient. Fully charged battery? That's not the same as a new battery. An old battery may not be holding the charge in spite of initially testing at 100%.

You have an app indicating power at 100%? I would try reconfiguring it, i. e. erasing all current date and setting it up again. https://www.cnet.com/home/security/how-to-install-the-ring-video-doorbell-2/

Gateway NV5378u lap top, brand new battery installed and status says 100% charged. When I unplug the computer it shuts off as if there is no battery. Could the new battery be defective?

There are a few things to check. The LED lights can tell you a lot. This will tell you more about the battery:
  1. On the taskbar, double-click the power cord icon or battery icon to open the Power Meter dialog box. Note: If the power cord icon or battery icon does not appear on the taskbar, click the show hidden icons button.
  2. Press Fn+STATUS to view the power status box, which opens in the upper-left corner of the screen. The power status box shows the current power source, the battery charge level, and the power management mode.
  3. Look at the battery charge indicator (if applicable).
    • LED green - Battery is fully charged.
    • LED orange - Battery is charging.
    • LED blinking red - Battery charge is very low.
    • LED solid red - Battery is malfunctioning. Note: This LED only lights up when the notebook is connected to AC power.
  4. Press the battery meter button on the battery. The battery meter lights indicate the percentage of battery charge remaining.
  5. Wait for a Low Battery warning message to appear.
If your battery charge indicator displays what looks like an inaccurate charge, you may need to recalibrate the battery.

To recalibrate the battery as mentioned, try this:
  1. Connect the AC adapter and then turn on the notebook.
  2. As soon as it starts and you see a startup screen, press the F2 key.
  3. In the BIOS Setup utility, use the TAB key to select the Advanced menu.
  4. On the Advanced menu, select Battery Auto Learning, and then press the SPACEBAR to select Enabled.
  5. Use the RIGHT ARROW key to select the Exit menu. On the Exit menu select Exit Saving Changes, and then press ENTER.
  6. At the Setup Confirmation prompt, select Yes, and then press ENTER.
  7. The battery recalibration process begins and a screen opens showing you the progress.
  8. When the recalibration has finished, and the message "Press [Esc] key to exit" appears, press Esc. The battery charge indicator now displays an accurate battery charge.

Hope this helps!!

Firmware

Usually, the Reboot routine is done by holding down the Power ON/OFF button for a while (5 seconds or more) until it reboots. Don't be surprised if it takes a minute or so.
Alternatively, consider using the RESET button ... then do the Reboot routine. Make sure your battery is well charged, remove the SD card, and hold the RESET (pin) down for 20 seconds or so (until the screen shuts off). Then do the Reboot routine.

Laptop lost battery back-up suddenly.

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

It wont power on & has a red flashing light

2 things, first bad battery, sometimes bad battery works for few minutes then your phone just dies on you, it says its fully charged but it aint. That red light flashing only means that your phone has LOW BATTERY. 2nd your phone software has problem. If you have another ericsson that uses the same battery you can check it the battery is ok, its the only way you can find out if the battery is good. If the battery is doing ok with another cellphone then your cellphone software has problem.

V3 got wet

sorry to say this but a wet phone is ruined. You will have to take it to a tech at your phone server. They will either repair it or you will have to get another one. Water and phones do not go together at all. Sux.
