I have the same problem and want to replace the battery, HELP!

Check the battery level and if low add distilled water to the max fill point. You could also try purchasing a Battery MINDer charger to help remove sulfated conditions within the battery, but this process is lengthy and may or may not work. If this doesn’t help rejuvenate your battery, it may need replaced.

In order to remove the battery pack you should slide the Lock key to the Unlock position and keep it there until you have removed the battery. check the battery hast to be same serie and check whit secund battery

You did not mention which model you are using, but this is how you install a new battery in the V220 Cordless Optical Mouse.

Install the battery for your mouse by making sure the battery faces the correct direction as shown in the image below.




Battery Replacement Tips
* For best battery performance, always use quality alkaline batteries.
* When replacing the battery, make sure the replacement battery is new and is within the manufacturer's expiration date.
* Do not use rechargeable batteries in this product.

Try these steps, I had the mouse a while ago and this is the way I remember replacing the batteries:

1) Simply grip the sides of the mouse and slide the battery cover
back.
2) Replace the old batteries with two AAA batteries
3) Replace the battery cover

It sounds like your battery went dead. maybe you should consider replacing the battery.
