Are you running Windows XP or Vista? If you are running XP, restart in safe mode and click on administrator, then go to control pane, users and click on manage other users, click on your name and remove password, click ok and restart normal...password is gone and you have full access to your name. If you have Vista, you can go to your nearest Geek Squad and they have the Samuri password recovery suite that can remove the passwords off all accounts in a vista PC.
we get a single thumbs up for that.....that is how you get rid of your own password unless you passworded the BIOS...then your screwed, take it to a shop where they will charge you. Most computers will let you into the safe mode while tapping F8 while the manufactureres flash screen is shown, once there, scroll to safe mode with networking and log in under administrator.
