Without all emissionsystem, which conection on carbs shall be pluged and which shall I use?

SOURCE: Hi. This is a question

Standing in front of the car, #1 piston is the front one on your left. All odd number pistons are on this side and all even number pistons are on your right, front to back.
When you are lining this all up make sure your #1 piston is in the proper position to the crank. Check the position of your rotor button in the distributor. It should be lined up to #1, which is about 8:30 on a clock. Then turn the engine by hand past TDC and make sure the exhaust valve starts to open. The crankchaft turns twice to every one turn of the camshaft so it is possible for your timing to look right but not work. Hope this helps.

Ethanol, E-10

The only problems you are likely to encounter are lower performance until you get it tuned correctly. The biggest problem is that in the earlier cars, the e- 10 fuel was not exactly compatible with the rubber used in the fuel systems so there was a danger of hose failure and possible engine fire., Check the hoses or change the hoses to the latest spec hose for E- 10 fuels

2004 arctic cat 650 twin back fires and pops at carb. rear exhaust pipe getting red hot

Hi Shawn, Check the ignition timing and inlet manifold gaskets and all vacuum hose connections. If all is okay carry out a compression test, looking specifically for burned valves, but timing would seem to be the likely problem. Regards John

Huskvarna Riding Lawn mower will not start

Stating the obvious when the fuel line is off the carb and the engine is cranked there should be fuel coming from the hose, if not the pump is not working, there is normally three conections on the pump, fuel in, fuel out, and pulse from the engine, this hose takes a pulse from the rise and fall of the piston in the cylinder, make sure the hoses are connected corectly and tight, if there is still no fuel check the inline fuel filter ( if fitted ) is not blocked, if all appears ok, then it can only be a faulty pump.

Where do gas hose connections hookup from primer bulb to gas tank and carboratuer

The bulb pulls fuel from the carb, into the bulb and dumps it back to the tank, there is usually a long and a short connection on the back of the primer, the longer conection is the pressure side so this returns fuel back to the tank, the shorter conection is the suction side, so this goes to the carb conection nearest to the metering cover, this is usually a chrome plate secured with four screws. The fuel hose from the tank with the filter on the end goes to the other conection on the carb nearest to the alluminium pump cover.

How to conect fuel lines to poulan chain saw 2375 Le

The hose coming from the fuel tank with the filter on the end goes to the fuel inlet on the carb, this is the conection closest to the alloy pump cover held with a single screw, now take a hose from the other conection on the carb to the shorter ( suction side ) conection on the back of the primer, take a hose from the longer conection ( pressure side ) on the primer back to tank, this just pushes into the tank, just remember that the primer pulls fuel from the carb and dumps it back to tank.

How to put the primer hoses on and where to put them

The fuel hose from the tank with the filter on the end goes to the fuel inlet on the carb ( conection nearest to the pump cover held with a single screw ) then take a pipe from the other carb conection to the short conection on the back of the primer ( suction side ) now take a pipe from the longer conection on the primer ( pressure side ) back to the tank, the primer pulls fuel from the carb and dumps it back to the tank

I replaced the primmer bulb now it won't start fouls out plug after 1 try.

It is very importent to assemble the hoses round the right way, there are two conections on the back of the primer, one long one short, the short conection ( suction ) should conect to the carb, the long conection ( pressure ) goes back to the tank, if you have them the wrong way round it will just flood the engine.
