I have a 46 inch RCA rear projection big screen TV. Last night while watching it, all of a sudden the screen went black and now it won't turn back on.....Purchased this TV in 1995 and have only had to have it serviced one other time(I believe it was the same problem) and only cost 125.00 to repair it. Is it worth getting it repaired again, that is if I can find someone, and are parts still available for this model?

If total dead (no lights on blinking etc) follow power cord into the set and find and check the main fuse--in this set it usually is a glass 5 amp fuse.
check all connections and different sources(dvd, vcr, antenna) to make sure that it is the tv. otherwise i would say call a technician because you could be in for some extensive troubleshooting
This has happened a couple of times--no big deal, it just seems to need "re-booting". Try holding 'home' button and 'sleep' button at the same time for 15-30 seconds. That should do it.
