Hi,
I work for Dell's Social Media Team and would like to you help with your question.
Please boot the system in safe mode under advanced startup options and check if you are able to login. Otherwise, please try restoring the system to factory settings using the link: http://dell.to/1sU6QJ3
Typically when the keyboard is turned on, the device discovers it. Once the device discovers it, you should be able to press connect on the keyboard and the Bluetooth pairing request with the code should pop up on your device. Then you should be able to enter the code on the keyboard, press enter and connect.
I would recommend "Forgetting the Network" first off in your Connections Settings. After re-scanning, make sure it is set as Home Network. From that point type the passcode into a notepad/wordpad and copy and paste it into the prompt for the passcode (this will ensure it wasn't even a finger slip).
I will continue to check, but I have only ever had a similar issue with a 4-in-1 scanner...which was just a letter's capitalization wasn't entered correctly.
the passcode it's asking is the wireless security that was setup on your router. it could be a wep or wpa.
in order to get it, you need to access the setup page of your router. for most routers, all you need to is open a web browser and enter the router's ip address.
i can't provide the exact steps since i don't know the exact model of your router.
you can try to ask the person who manages your router for the wireless key.
hope this'll help you but if not, provide me the exact brand and model of your router
