JD 165 stops pulling after short warm up - Garden

Could have a short in the coil or it could be over heating cleare the fan of any thing it.

When it is at full throttle start pulling the choke on slowly and see if it smoothes out and stops surging.if it doe,s you have a carb problem.this means it is getting too much air.you will have too rebuild or replace carb.

JD jet kits give you a few options

I ended up using The red needle at 5 notches down
up from 165 to 170 main.
up from 45 pilot to 48 pilot

You might just want to try a 170main first and see how it goes

i have the same thing a tractor shop told me thats ok they are slowed dowm for saftey

PF is probably PE like mine, sometimes the bottome row of the liquid display doesn't work properly

PE is a Pressure Error - condition - The water level in Tub goes down during operation

HE is a HEATER ERROR

¥ The Thermistor is troubled.
¥ The Heater is shorted.
¥ The Relay Circuit is troubled.
Possible solutions
¥ Repair the Circuit of Heater.
¥ Replace the Thermistor.
¥ Replace the Heater.
¥ Repair the Relay Circuit..

When it warms up the oil gets thinner and it losses the pressure.
