Can't save pics/vids to micro SD card

try following 3 passwords:

nokia

12345

0000

try usiong usb data cable connection. if that doesnt work, try checking ung mmc if it has a password on it, pc's specially windows xp, dont read security locked mmc on nokia phones

Can it be read in another device if so i would say it is password protected in you card menu in the phone will be a section to enter the password.
sd cards just seem unreadable if the password has not been given and it wont prompt

take the battery off and look for a small black car usuall on the left side under wher the battery would normally go...Push it in, then it should pop back out and you can remove it. if it wont push in any further try pulling it out using yer finger nails or tweezers....

As I understand the problem, seems that the phone was unable to detect the MicroSD card, right?

There could be a problem with the memory card or with the card slot on your phone. To isolate the problem, try the steps below:

1. Insert the MicroSD card in to different cell phones to see if other phone will detect it.

2. Try using another MicroSD card into your phone to test if the card slot is working correctly or not.

If it is a 4GB micro SD card it won't work, a nokia 6300 doesn't accept HC (high Capacity) micro SD cards. Maximum you can use is a 2 GB micro SD card.

Are the pics saved to phone or in the camera?
If saved to phone.Do you still have service for the internet on the phone?
If you do you can send the pics to an email address.
If in camera you need a 2 gb or lower micro sd card, micro sd card reader, and a sd card reader.

Purchase another Memory Card. Before activating PASSWORD again, try to save the same in ur mobile. That may save u from another memory card.

You have to format your micro SD memory card with your phone first before you can download files to it. With the micro SD memory card in your phone.
1)go to menu 2) go to settings & tools 3)go to memory 4)select card memory 5)***SELECT OPTIONS*** ---this will ask you if you want to format your card select YES, if there is a phone password it would be your last 4 digits of your number.

Now eject the memory card from you phone. Now when you put the memory card to your computer you should see the sub menus...my pics..my videos...my music...my sounds. Now all you have to do is just click and drag your music and photos to these folders.

Then when you add the memory card to your phone it will see all the music, photos, etc...

If saving to a micro sd card just use a card reader hooked to your computer . if not get a micro sd card and dont save to the camers built in memory , you can use up to a 2 gb card .
