From our research, you want to make sure that the headset is indeed
turned off. You may need to re-pair the headset to the phone. Here is
the link for the instructions on how to do it (pages 4, 5).
There is a restriction of number of incoming, outgoing & missed calls entry by default by manufacturer. When you get incoming call, the older entry gets deleted if your call entries are full to its default value.
It sounds like a defective headset. Call Plantronics directly at 1-800-544-4660 x 5538 to troubleshoot and if it's defective, they will assist in a replacement.
what you will do,you will press*#7780# then it will want your password,then you will put your password and wait few minuts,if your ph take restart automaticaly, then ok, other wise you will restart your ph manualy
The headset icon always appear in my nokia n70 and cannot remove and when i connect my headset ... it doesn't work . with or without headset the headset icon always appear in my screen .
maybe you had your phone wet on the bottom part where the headset is to be plugged in. bring it to the nearest repair shop for the just to clean the metal contacts then, your icon will be gone
