Powerware 5125 1500VA battery service Indicater is flashing

The battery service Indicater is flashing and 5125 won't power up.. Unit had initially powered up. Went down and won't power up when you hold down the on button..New out of the box 5125 1500VA .

Does the unit have to be on for the batteries to charge or can you just plug the unit into the AC outlet?

SOURCE: Battery/Surge outlets not working...

Sounds like the UPS battery is bad, or the circuit break on it has gone. Is there a reset button on the UPS? Do you have the program that came with the UPS to check the battery status, those programs typically let you run a test on it also.

SOURCE: Screen went black

Just a thought... There's a "Fn" Key located beside the Start key, when you press this "FN" key + F5, the screen goes black, and if you press again, the screen goes back to normal... Could this be the problem?

Hello, we have a Powerware 9120 and our question is: If you set the BYPASS option, can the batteries load?? Thank you

Not sure what you mean by load the batteries. Replace them? Yes. Bypass mode is typically used when servicing the unit. You can email Eaton if you like: [email protected]
Here is the legacy documentation page for the 9120 UPS:

We had a power outage for about 45 minutes a few days ago. Ever since then the Powerware 3110 has been beeping. I turned it off and left it plugged in overnight and when I turned it back on the beeping...

This could be several things, fortunately the device should actually be helping you to diagnose the issue. There are different beeps for different issues. They are as follows:

1 Beep Every 5 Seconds = Power Outage\Loose Plug Connection\Tripped Circuit Breaker\Power Cord Damage or Failure

2 Beeps Every 5 Seconds = Low Battery Alarm

3 Beeps Every 5 Seconds = Battery Needs Charging\Service\Replacement

3 Beeps Every 5 Minutes = The Battery is discharged and battery power is unavailable (If this continues battery replacement may be necessary)

1 Beep Ever 1/2 Second = Power Requirements exceed the UPS Capacity (remove some equipment to lighten the load on the unit)

Continuous Beep = Short Circuit / Input Voltage out of Range / UPS Fault (Likely replacement of entire unit)

That should help diagnose the actual issue. If it turns out the battery needs to be replaced they can be found online for around $20. A simple google search for Powerware 3110 Battery should return what you're after. Good luck!

Good afternoon The system has a red light flashing constantly and is emitting 3 beeps every thirty seconds. Thanks for your help.

The battery in your UPS needs to be replaced. You can contact the manufacturer for a replacement battery -- depending on your warranty, they may replace it for free.

Flash not working error sign E 91;01 on the lcd screen model dscw110

Hi,

The E:91:01 is the self diagnostic code display of the Camera which indicates the symptom of the issue. This can easily be identified with the help of a authorized service technician.
The E:91:01 code indicates the abnormality of the Camera when the Flash is being charged. Normally this can be resolved by some normal troubleshooting steps and if not changing the Flash unit.
Try recharging the battery in the Camera to Full and then power resetting the Camera. To power reset the Camera, remove the batteries from the Camera, press and hold the power button of the Camera for 30 seconds and then re-insert the battery pack after 1 minute. If the issue persists, try INITIALIZING the Camera. To Initialize, press HOME, select SETTINGS--> MAIN SETTINGS 1-->INITIALIZE-->OK
If the issue persists after resetting and initializing, service may be required to resolve the issue with the Flash unit

I have a Powerware Plus UPS system and it not in normal mode. It is simply not working for our hospital any more. HOw do I purchase a new one or repair the one I have temporarily

Here is the documentation page for the Plus 36: http://powerquality.eaton.com/Products-services/legacy/plus-info.asp The Powerware Plus 36 can be serviced but it is a legacy product that is no longer manufactured. Eaton purchased Powerware and retained the service organization so there are lots of people trained to service this unit. For a replacement unit, you'd probably be looking at the Eaton 9355: www.eaton.com/9355 For Plus 36 service, here is the contact info: Toll Free: 1 800 843 9433

Short backup time

Suspect battery failure/faulty cell in a batt
Remove batts and check outside unit
charge up to around 2.27V/cell then check discharge on each batt (12V car lamp is good dummy load)
faulty one will be obvious.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE VERY CAREFUL WITH BATTERIES, THEY ARE VERY DANGEROUS, AND ALWAYS LIVE!

Check you manual for safety procedures, BEFORE working on Batteries.

hope this helps

Powerware 9120 UPS

yes..and that happens after a period of time. When you get new ones, check the instructions on the initial charge/discharge requirements, and use those methods. tends to help with the battery life extension.
