The lights on the timer started flashing on and off. Can that be fixed?

I'd start with a replacement main board

Its probably to thermistor it is a black wire with a bulb on one end and the other hooks to the control board I would replace this first if this doesn't fix it probably be the control board.

You have connected white and red wires together.
White wire must be connected to neutral or to ground to operate timer mechanism, display and switching.

First you will have to trouble shoot to determine if it's the power supply or the inverter board.

I have one that the operation light flashes 7 times and the timer light flashes 2 times. Error code says Discharge pipe temperature error. Is there an easy fix?Thanks!!

Please cancel your timer setting by reset the power. And also remove battery from your remote and reset it. Now start your unit.

Intermatic is a reliable mfg. if you have a it wired to directly to a light and only a light, you most likely have a defective timer. Bring it back and purchase a rotary timer with on-off switch. more reliable. I too installed the same type of timer and went through 3 before installing intermatics rotary timer/switch.
