Whenever lightning flashes very close to my building, the phone goes completely dead, and the red light keeps flashing. When this happens, i need to replace the handset with a new one, which is adding up. Hurricane season just started, so its only going to get worse. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi there it looks like your phones getting fried by the lightning, perhaps the phone cables on the way to your house are getting hit, im not sure if theres such thing as a phoneline surge protector (try a good electrical store) or simply unplug the phone when god gets angry, good luck

sorry, i think my phone is not the one specified but infact a 16 line pbx phone
is it possible to repair these phones, bcuz i have a couple of them. Well the phone line isn't really affected much since they still work when i switch out a different handset. The red light would keep flashing as long as it is pluged in, which indicates that it is getting power. One more question, is there like a reset button on the phone?
