Picture goes out constantly with words "ypp searching" appearing

It's not the TV it's the source( check settings in your DVD player or cable box

My plasma TV seems to have problems with picture immediately after turning on. At about two weeks ago, the TV lost picture after turning on the TV. It was corrected by disconnecting power then reconnecting. A switch on rear left hand side would click bringing picture ON, somehow this clicking seems to have problems being energized lately not allowing picture to come on the TV. Checked power cable and was getting 120 Volts to TV, nonetheless problem has gotten worst and TV does not show a picture? Your thoughts on my problem?

It sounds like the tuner demodulator has failed. Many times I have found that it is cheaper to buy an external hi-def tuner than repair the one that is in the set. The fact that the tuner is finding channels but not displaying them is a good sign that the demodulator has failed. In one case I had with Sony rear projector, it would have been $800 to repair the internal hi-def tuner and the customer can buy an external tuner for $100-$200. Depending on the way you hook up the media or cable box, this is what you look for, if you are in the video area then look for V1, V2, V3 or the right one if you are on the RF connection then it also has an A and B side. Try each

SOURCE: Hitachi plasma screen black. blue light on... no picture though.

Replace digital board. Common for this set.
