Software not finding printer. Printer is showing on taskbar and in control panel.

Hi Friend,
I think One time uninstall printer software and restart laptop and installation before clean the virus in laptop then install printer driver. If any error show in installations time then antivirus sort time disable. And software full install then proper check it printer driver show in control panel. If problem same then change printer cable connector.
If then not solved then finally you check other OS laptop may be find error.

make sure to install the driver for the printer here is the link u have to select ur operating system and after u install the software and driver ur printer should just work...u can locate the printer icon in the lower right hand corner of ur taskbar where the clock is... r u can go to the control panel and select devices and printer and there u will also see ur printer.

Follow these steps to find the page count number in the print driver.

1. Depending on your operating system, follow one of these steps:
   • Windows XP : Click Start , and then click Printers and Faxes .
   • Windows Vista : On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon ( ), click Control Panel , and then click Printers .
   • Windows 7 : On the Windows taskbar, click Start ( ), and then click Devices and Printers .
2. Right-click the icon for your product, and then select Properties from the drop-down menu.
3. Click the General tab, and then click Printing Preferences .
4. Click the Basics tab, and then click About .

You need to put your printer back online. Depending on your operating system, (I will assume some flavor of Windows) you need to find your printer listed in "Control Panel". Right click your printer icon with your mouse, and choose "Use printer online".

If the document does not print and the job remains queued, a printer icon will appear to the left of the time on the Windows taskbar. Double-click the printer icon in the taskbar. Click on the document title. From the document menu, click "restart".

Install the EPSON driver software on the PC, connect the printer and the EPSON status monitor (Little printer icon on the taskbar) will show you howto replace the cartridges on your model.

If using generic cartridges, try using original manufacturer's.
If utility software installed, try running the head/nozzle/check/cleaning/realigning functions.
(look for an icon in taskbar or in directories installed by your printer software)

What happens when you try to print?
1. When you try to print do you see the printer icon on the taskbar? (lower right)
2. Do you see the printer in your printers folder?(start/settings/control panel/ printers) Might need installed
3. Is the printer your default printer? (right click on the printer in the above area and select "set as default printer")
4. Is it plugged in, turned on and plugged into your computer?
5. Has the software been installed or recently updated?

Go to START.....SETTINGS........PRINTER AND FAXES......rite click the printer you want to work with select properties...
