Hi friend,
I think the problem may from the "safe mode",safe mode is intended for maintenance, not functionality, and provides minimal access to features. An operating system in safe mode will have reduced functionality,so may be you should switch the mode.
Have a nice day!!

I purchased some software to monitor calls on my daughters cellphone. the software was sent to me and i need to save it to my computer and then download it to my HTC thunderbolt phone. how do i do this?

The software installation file you have purchased is in "APK" format which is what Android will recognize as an application installer.
To install applications outside of the Market you must select/check "Unknown sources" which is located under "Applications" which is located under "Settings."
1. Connect the HTC Evo to your computer via it's USB cable.
2. Select mode of connection as "Disk Drive" (a menu with these options will pop up after connecting through USB).
After that is done, your computer will now recognize your HTC Evo as a Disk Drive.
3. Go to the location of the file you've download and want to transfer to you daughter's Evo- Select it, hold down "Ctrl" key while pressing the letter "c" (to copy the file).
4. Go to the location of the HTC Evo now known to your computer as a "Disk Drive" then hold down "Ctrl" key while pressing the letter "v" (to paste what you've copied).
Now that the file is on your daughter's Evo you simply need to:
1. Change the Evo's mode of connection from "Disk Drive" to "Charge Only" or just disconnect the USB cable.
2. Browse to the phone's app directory to start a file manager application (download one from the Market if you don't already have one- I recommend "ASTRO File Manager").
3. Navigate (using the file manager) to the file you've transferred to the phone and just launch it. The next prompt will ask if you want to install the application- select "Install."
Done.

How can i install theme on my phone ( nokia T88 )

Hi,
If you've got the CD that came with your phone, install the software from that. If you don't have it, download the software Nokia PC Suite free from the website herehttp://europe.nokia.com/A4144903.

Then connect phone to PC with USB cable. Nokia PC Suite will pick it up.

Go to My Computer>Nokia Phone Browser>Gallery>Themes (or put it in Memory Card, where there's more memory = more space for more themes) and paste the themes in there..

OR
Open up PC Suite>File Manager>Gallery>Themes and paste there.

You can get loads of cool free themes, ringtones and much more for your phone from these websites.

Things you will need:

Cable to connect the phone to the PC.

First install the Motorola phone installation Cd on your PC, after installing, connect the phones cable to the phone before connecting the the PC. Make sure the PC recognizes the phone before you can do any other operation.

On the desktop page of your PC, click on (my computer), locate where the phone folder is and click on the folder, what ever you want to install inside the phone memory you can install from that folder.

Cant sync phone to pc

What's the model no. of your phone? What is the operating system (OS) of it? Did it came with a sync CD? How do you want to sync your phone (is it via USB cable or via Bluetooth)?

If you are trying to sync it using a USB cable, make sure that the sync software (the CD that came with the phone) is properly installed in the computer.

After installing it to the computer, connect your phone to the USB port of the computer and launch the sync icon on your phone.

Select the item(s) that you would like to sync (E-mail, Calendar (Events), Contacts, Tast or Notes). Make sure that everything's properly configured like the server path and the server mode.

If you find that the server mode is set to "Normal", try setting it first to "Slow".
