SOURCE: Need a remote code for a Durabrand DWT1304A TV

I bought the "3 in 1 easy to use" universal remote from Radio Shack for $5.99 and used the Durabrand Codes in the insert. It worked perfectly.

Go into your menu of the tv and reprogram the channels into the tv. Use "autoprogram" it will be in the menu somewhere.

on the remote there may be a button marked MTS. if so press this button (toward tv) repeatedly till stereo mode displays. otherwise go into tv menu under audio section and scroll to parameter that allows you to adjust mono,stereo, or sap mode. mch

It sounds like there must be a captioning button on your cable remote (if that is the one that got dropped). You should probably call your cable company and talk to one of their service guys and see if they can tell you which button controls Closed Captioning (on my remote, it is clearly identified as "CC"). If that does not work, then maybe you can go to ebay and find a replacement remote for the TV. There should be a way to disable captioning at the set, though.

Durabrand tv codes
I seem to be the only person on the net with the 3 digit Durabrand universal remote code which works for 13' and up Durabrand TV's and TV/DVD TV/VCR combos. The culprit is 3 digit code 189 for a Funai and Emerson. I only know this because I have like 4 of these TV's haha.
