I have the F06 error code as well. I just replaced the door lock (as I did 6 months ago with successful results) but this time I continue to get both F06 and F14 error codes. The door lock repair is quite easy. Unplug from the wall, remove the band spring on the door seal (20 in diameter or so), then remove the 3 Torx screws from the door lock (screws outside surface of dor lock) remove connections, remove & replace lock. F14 is a CCU (Central Control Unit) problem (or so says the Whirlpool manual), and I desperately need help. Anybody? Need a hand here. --Paul
Before you replace the control panel use a tester on the cable to check continuity .. if the cable is faulty you will get this fault
Testimonial: "Thx. All OK. I labeled all 14 cables, installed new one, and...success. It's said CCU relays could be culprit, and can be replaced for $4, not $240."
Circuit Board Medics can rebuild the CCU for the F14 error and the MCU for the F06 error. The parts are upgraded over the factory components to prevent the errors from happening again. Find more details at www.CircuitBoardMedics.com.
