Well basically you cant charge it without a power input source so you gotta buy a new one or buy a power replacment kit on amazon or ebay

Hi my nintendo ds lite battery is dead and my charger is lost is there any other way to charge it without a charger?

You can try charging your DS lite using a phone charger. In order for this to work the charger must
  • Output around 5.2 volts
  • The end of the plug must look like the second plug from the left in this picture
When plugging this cord into your DS lite do NOT force it in. If you push to hard it may break the DS lite.

This requires replacing but you need to be experienced with a soldering iron and know how to dismantle the DS.

My nintendo ds won't charge I tired everything is

If you DS isn't charging there are two possible things that could be causing this.

The first one is that the batter inside the DS is shot, in which case you'd have to replace it.

The other one also requires replacement, and that's assuming your charger itself isn't working. Either way, you're probably going to need to replace something.

One way you could tell which is messed up is to try and charge someone else's DS. If that doesn't work then it's most likely the charger.

Hope I was able to help.

Nintendo DS Lite - does not charge

i would suggest trying to find what the issue is, if you know anyone who has a different charger, try it on your daughter's ds. if it still doesn't work, it's a DS problem...if it's under warranty, go to whatever store you bought it at and have them fix or replace it. If you try the different charger and it DOES work, then the only problem is the charger...so then all you have to do is go buy a new charger...hope this helps.

Nintendo DS lite

Have you tried to turn the console on while the charger is attached?
If yes, then take the battery out, plug the charger in again and try turning it on.
