Could it be the screen saver is activating, blanking the screen, so that it reduces battery consumption? Try going into your phone settings and adjust the screen saver.
Hi, Check that the terminals in the battery compartment are clean
and shiny. Remove any powder left after battery leakage. Insert fresh
batteries in calculator. Make sure you respect the polarity diagram.
+-+- (Many malfunctions come from incorrectly placed batteries).
After replacing batteries, calculator is restored to defaults and screen display may be too loght or too dark
To adjust the screen: Darken or lighten display
To darken screen
Press [2nd] key and release it.
Press and hold [UpArrow] until screen is dark enough.
To lighten screen
Press [2nd] key and release it.
Press and hold [DownArrow] until screen is light enough.
Hi, Has anyone resolved this issue yet, I have a powershot s2 IS with the same issue - i replace the batteries with brand new duracell's and it says replace batteries i reseat the batteries and it works for a few pics if im lucky then says replace batteries again - any help would be appreciated - Canon offers no solution.
That is a low battery warning icon. Check first the DC adapter/charger output. It might be not working so the battery is drained. Then the player will not turn on. The player will still turn on even the battery is dead when plugged into an outlet.
Anyway, you probably need a new battery. The battery loses it's capability to hold a charge after each time it is charged so all you need is a new battery.
simple! with my Canon S90 had the same problem until I changed the SD card from LEXAR for a TOSHIBA SD card and the message " Change the Battery Pack"disappeared.
try the new battery, but be sure it the right battery and fully charge V6.0 or higher. if no change, than you may have damage on the inside from the liquid discharged (short)
