How do you recharge the vector? Don Rutledge

VECTOR VECO12B, JUMP´N CHARGE SMART BATTERY CHARGER.

VECTOR VECO12B, Jump'n CHARGE SMART BATTERY CHARGER.
Hello everyone, I recently purchased (February 2011) this system. I have had the same problem which does not charge the internal battery system. The battery charging system works fine but the jump-starter system does not work.
After various tests, online reading and analyzing the problem, I came to the conclusion that the internal battery is damaged or out of specification.
What happens? What happens is that the internal battery jump-starter is in a voltage (V) is too low, which is not enough for the charger to see it as sufficient to start charging, it displays the fault F01 or F02.
What I made was this: using the power load of 12 volt DC, I placed one end connected to 12 volt DC output from jump-starter and the other end I connected with the auxiliary cable to an external battery . This makes connecting the internal battery jump-starter, with the external battery. This without using the battery cable clamps.
Under this condition I connect the jump-starter to a power of 110 volts AC and I turned it on and then I select the level of charge (2, 4 or 6 amps). The charger begins charging the two batteries (internal battery jump-starter and external).
This makes the load current is distributed equally (depending on the impedance of each battery) between the two batteries.
I leave it in that condition for 12 hours, always checking the condition of the system.
After that time, I disconnect the system and I measurement in the 12-volt DC socket, the internal battery and up to a level of 11.50 volts DC. Since then the jump-starter, began to recognize the internal battery as well, and I leave two hours charging himself, and after that, the level of tension was of 14.40 volts DC.
I turned off the charger and the system is loaded ready for work.
From all this I deduce that the problem was the internal battery which did not have enough power level to initiate the battery charger work.
Greetings, I hope this is helpful for everyone.

I have a power on board veco12pob 450 amp jump starter unit and my question is what kind of adaptor do i need . I would like to know the volts and amps.

I have the same problem: today I tried a 12 volt, 1500 milliamp (1.5 amp) power cord and it has charged mine halfway, so far. It fits the plug in, but not certain, yet, that it has enough power to fully charge.
