Help Tracking Lost Cell-Phone

I was using Nokia 6030, but it was stolen a week ago in Bangalore. How can I track my Cellphone using IMEI Number? Please help me in tracking my Cell-Phone as it is very important to me & I had many important information in that Phone.

    So you mean once lost, it is lost forever if a Mobile tracking software was not installed.... Right??? :-(

    I really need that particular phone, even one of my friends lost his phone in this incident.

To be able to track your phone you should have installed a tracking software on it when you were owning it.You cannot track by imei number but only the phone can be bared from a network.So if you lose your phone say in the Uk and the owner report it as lost,that phone cannot be used on any Uk networks but it may well work in a foreign country.Hope this help to clear your mind.

I have a hacker on my phone right now-LEO Privacy. If my phone were stolen, it would lock all my apps and delete all my personal informations. I can also track my phone and even take photos to the thief if he tries to open apps with wrong password. And the Police will visit him very SOON!!!

sir i am really sorry to inform you that that you can only trace your mobile and that too in specific countries by using your imei number.....but if you do no have your imei number then absolutely nothing can be done.....someone might take some money from you , telling you that he is tracking your cell but i urge you to not fall for that unless you have the imei number....no one can get the imei number of your cellphone

No, contact local police and report it stolen, if you have the IMEI code of the phone you can report it stolen and they will block it from usage.

Your phone service provider may be able to help you if its stolen, to get it blocked from use.

But no, we can't find the phone, we won't clean your house either.

Contact your service provider (ie.Orange, Vodafone etc), and tell them that you have lost you phone and you have the IMEI no. and you want to track it.

It can be tracked easily.

Track Lost Cell-Phone
You personally cannot track your phone by IMEI. That would allow people to stalk and track other people it's an invasion of privacy.

The only thing you can do, and should do is contact the service provider and report it stolen. First they should be able to lock the phone by broadcasting a signal over the network. This will prevent the theif from using the phone.

You will have to ask about the tracking part. I'm not quiet sure how or if they can do that for you. Something I will look into so that I know myself.

BLOCK STOLEN MOBILE USING IMEI NO.
Hi there.
Phone your service provider, tell them its been stolen, if its being used they will send a text to that phone which will disable it from being able to be used. As for tracking it has to have GPS installed in the original software.

Lost mobile
As far as I know IMEI numbers are like registration numbers, they dont actually trace. I know with modems etc that have IMEI numbers they cant be traced. At telstra IMEI numbers were only like a registration number, my suggestion is to cancel the phone. only a suggestion though....
